  3. what a great picture! One of my granddaughters calls me "grammie," too--mainly because I called my grandmother "Gamie". Pauline, I was so happy to read of progress you are making. It may seem slow, but you are such a trooper, that I know you will be doing everything you can to gain back your strength. My prayers are with you that you will continue in your faith and courage that you have had through the years in the challenges you have faced in the past. I'm so thankful for our friendship. Love and hugs, Linda Rehart:) [Dear family--Thank you so much for sharing the progress on Pauline. There are so many that love and pray for her, and for your family to have the strength and faith you need during this time. We love your mom so much and are grateful for the beautiful example that she is. Linda Rehart:) ]

  4. Pauline,
What a fun picture of you and your husband. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family, especially in my fast today. Hang in there! We miss your spirit here, as many noted in their testimonies today. I look forward to you coming home and being able to enjoy your new knees!

P.S. I still mess up badly leading the music, but I don't think that anyone notices. It's a different view from up above to see who watches the chorister, which are few. Thank goodness in my case - I'd lead them all astray. They will breathe a sigh of relief when you return to your post!

  5. Hello,

my name is Poppy and I'm from Greece. Pauline is my mom's-in-law cousin, their dads were brothers. I have never met Pauline in person, but through post cards and e-mails we keep in touch and I give her the news of the family here in Greece, as she gives us the news of the family, there in the US.

She means a lot to all of us here, and especially to my mom-in-law, Tota Panagopoulou Oikonomopoulos... Pauline is the only connection she has with her family there! Every time I give her news that Pauline sends me, her eyes glow... this time, the news is not what we all expected... From what my mom-in-law says, she is such a strong and energetic person!!!! In the picture with her husband, she looks a lot like Tota. They have the same facial features, same eyes...!!

It's amazing, even though you are thousands of miles away, Pauline managed all these years, to make the two ends meet, by giving us news and talking to us about each one of you there, keeping us together as one family!!!!

We would all like to send Pauline our best regards and wishes for a quick and full recovery. May God be with her and with all of you in this difficult moment and lead you all trough!!! Our thoughts are with you!We will all be praying for her....

    Love,
    Tota Panagopoulou Oikonomopoulos
    Mimis Oikonomopoulos
    Helen Oikonomopoulou Sarantoudis
    George Sarantoudis
    Marios-Elias Sarantoudis
    Elias Oikonomopoulos
    Poppy Protogerou Oikonomopoulos

P.S. My mom-in-law was wondering if you have contacted their other cousin in Ohio (I think), Mr. Chris Carras. They would like to know about Pauline....
